Tenebris is a verdant flowering alpine meadow of wild medicinal herbs in a jar. Use as a restorative ritual balm to relieve tension and relieve pain in the body, and to promote deep tissue healing and regeneration. We recommend massaging it into the feet at a quiet moment, paying attention to your reflexology points. Apply sparingly to the temples before bed to help induce a restful night’s sleep and stimulate good dreams, or use any time on achy knees, elbows, ankles, necks and wrists. Users have reported relief to tight chests and shoulders, too.

Like all our products, Tenebris is entirely natural, made from whole ingredients, with zero synthetic chemicals or preservatives.

How to use:

Massage balm into your feet, with particular attention to reflexology points. Dab your temples and lymph node zones on the sides of your neck to help promote deep and restful sleep. Apply directly to achy joints and muscles throughout the day to help relieve pain, inflammation and tension.

Black Cumin Seed Oil has been in use for a very long time to treat many ailments. Actually unrelated to cumin, the seeds of the nigella sativa plant, also known as kalonji, occupy an important position in the canon of Perso-Arabic Unani medicine. In the Hadith, the collected sayings of Muhammad, it is written that he praised the seed as a medicine that “can heal every disease except death.” Modern studies confirm that the oil of nigella sativa offers a plethora of beneficial biochemical components which produce its many pharmacological effects depending on the route of administration. For skin, the cold pressed oil of black cumin seeds has been shown to help with increasing collagen formation, preventing oxidative injury to tissues, and promoting excellent wound healing, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory, and immunomodulatory effects. One of its most well-studied components, the compound thymoquinone, has been called a “miracle therapeutic molecule against many diseases.” It has been shown to effect a wide range of pharmacological actions, including antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic, antimicrobial, and renal protective.

Gotu Kola is the common name for the leaves of the centenella asiatica plant, also known as brahmi in Sanskrit. It is a wonderful herb with a variety of uses and applications, and has been revered for centuries by people all over the world for its anti-inflammatory and wound healing properties. Rich in vitamins B and C, flavonoids, tannins, polyphenol, and triterpenoids, gotu kola used topically may help promote collagen production, reduce scars, and increase the level of antioxidants in newly formed tissues. It can also help skin retain its moisture, and by penetrating deeply into tissues, can help repair veins and improve the tensile strength of regenerated skin.
