- Q. What makes your products so effective?
- A. We use only the best natural ingredients, each expertly prepared through sophisticated holistic techniques. As per the alchemical tradition, our formulas combine the unique healing properties of the plant, animal and mineral kingdoms. Alchemy brings the potencies of each kingdom into a state that is available to the human body. We also employ astrodynamic timing in our production to highlight the subtle influences of nature.
- Q. What is the shelf life of your products?
- A. With proper handling and storage, balms and oils can last 18 months, The face mist is best used within 6 months. Because we don’t use synthetic preservatives, our products benefit from a bit extra attention to their care. Always replace the lid when not in use, keep out of prolonged direct sunlight and excessive heat, and use clean, dry hands when applying balms.
- Q. I have sensitive skin. Are you products okay for me to use?
- A. Our products are formulated with sensitive skin in mind. Test on a small area first. The best product of ours if you have very sensitive skin would be Astrum. We come doctor recommended, but if you have any doubts, please consult with your dermatologist, medical or naturopathic doctor.
- Q. I tend to get acne from oil based products. How might your products affect me?
- A. All of our ingredients are ranked at the low end of the comedogenic scale, and many of the botanicals that we use are anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial. A number of users have reported that our products, Aurora in particular, have been beneficial in reducing acne, soothing irritated skin, and moisturizing without clogging pores. We recommend, however, that you test on a small area first to see how the unique ecology of your skin responds.
- Q. How, what, when, who and why are your products made?
- A. Our in-house alchemist produces each batch by hand after carefully preparing all of the individual ingredients. Traditional laboratory methods of the alchemical tradition mean that we do not use any synthetic chemicals or harsh solvents in the extraction process. Astrodynamic timing means that each extraction and batch production is timed according to subtle energetic influences that optimize the properties of each ingredient and the formula as a whole, to help you look and feel your finest.
- Q. Are your products truly 100% natural?
- A. Yes. Every ingredient is derived from a plant, mineral, or animal (i.e. eggs) in its whole, natural form.
- Q. What is on your product roadmap?
- A. Coming soon are fragrant neutral versions of our flagship products. We are also developing a very special eye cream with completely unique ingredients (early testers keep asking when they can get more!), and a selection of face mists with fresh seasonal hydrosols. We're also working on a beard oil!
