Reålea is a new kind of self care ritual that synergizes the beauty and sophistication of old world knowledge and practice with the insights of modern science and dermatology. Uniquely among natural skincare brands, we apply traditional laboratory alchemy to the three domains of Nature: Plant, Mineral and Animal, to potentiate our ingredients' properties and create products that are greater than the sum of their parts. We utilize powerful natural sources rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and essential fatty acids, including retinol and vitamin C, as well as our trade secret natural preservatives.
UNIQUELY HIGH QUALITY
All our products are handcrafted and made in small batches by our alchemist founder at our alchemical laboratory in Santa Rosa, CA. We believe that your skincare products should be transparently FRESH. Every product comes with a signed seal indicating batch number, product number, and date of production. Our pledge to you is that all products ordered from our online store will shipped within no more than 30-45 days of manufacturing and always kept in a dark cold-storage unit before shipping.

We employ the sophisticated methods of spagyric alchemy to produce the highest quality ingredients for each of our products. Our use of traditional laboratory practices means that each raw material is carefully tended to ensure that our extracts contain abundant concentrations of each plant's bioactive components, minimizing the molecular damage that can be caused caused by excessive heat, light, or the harsh solvents that are widely used today but are not part of our spagyric practice. We also apply astrodynamic timing in our production process to optimally harness the influence of the subtle energies that act upon the life cycles of plants and minerals.
OUR STORY
Our founder studied Real Alchemy with esteemed alchemist and chemist Robert Bartlett, author, teacher, and founder of the Spagyricus Institute. Rooted in the European tradition of medicinal alchemy, he also has studied extensively and incorporates the wisdom of Indian Ayurvedic alchemy, which is quite widely practiced and well-studied in India, as well as Chinese and Persian alchemical traditions. Furthermore, he takes a scientific approach and reevaluates traditional thought and practice in the light of chemistry, using all of the contemporary means available to better analyze and understand the products of alchemical methods. To practice alchemy in the 21st century is not simply to reinvigorate the forgotten knowledge of the past, but to advance a living tradition and bring it into the modern paradigm of safety, efficacy, and availability.
